this small to medium size (11 inches high by 14 inches
wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sissy's
Siberian Eyes' × {( H. 'Niagara Falls' ×
H. 'Jean Harlow') × [(H. nigrescens ×
H. 'Blue Whirls') × (H. nigrescens ×
H.
hypoleuca)]}. It is a medium green colored hosta
with a pale yellow marginal variegation.
The broadly
ovate leaves are slightly wavy, slightly shiny on top,
slightly twisted and slightly corrugated. Near white
flowers with pale lavender stripes bloom from late June
into July on scapes 40 to 48 inches tall. It sets viable
seeds in green pods. The
registration materials state: "...Wide veins and
striking color contrast between the wide cream/yellow
margins and green centers (especially on a plant this
large)...margins fade from pale yellow to creamy
white later in the season."
