Registered by
Lora Rahe of Minnesota in 2010, this
miniature size (3 inches high by 6 inches wide) cultivar is a
sport of
H. nakaiana. The dark green foliage has creamy white and green
speckles in its streaked variegation. Its leaves are
moderately wavy, ovate, heavily rippled and dull on top.
Lavender flowers with purple stripes bloom from June
into July on scape 3 to 6 inches tall.
According to the registration materials: "...Leaf
edges are ruffled and folded in. Petioles and stems are
white with the narrowest edge of green. Holds
variegation all summer..."
