This cultivar is the result of a
cross of H. 'Tokudama' × H. 'Big Mama' which was registered by
Paul Aden of New York in 1978. The large size mound of blue-green foliage
grows to about 22 inches in height with a spread of around 40
inches. Its foliage is heavily corrugated with thick substance.
Near-white flowers bloom in July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...an older cultivar that still rates highly for its
cupping, corrugation, substance and color."
