This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Regal Rhubarb' which was registered in 2007 by Steve and Sarah Zolock of Pennsylvania. It is a large size (19 inches high by 38 inches wide) hosta with medium green foliage. The leaves are slightly rippled, slightly shiny on top, ovate and lightly wavy. Pale purple, tubular flowers bloom from late July into August. It sets viable seeds in black purple colored seed pods.
