Butler and Dr Jamie Street of Indiana in 2016, this giant size (39 inches
high by 86 inches wide) cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. The broadly ovate foliage is
golden yellow, moderately wavy, corrugated and dull on
top. Flowers with pale lavender stripes bloom from June
into July on scapes up to 38 inches tall.
The registration materials state: "Giant, fast grower.
Withstands a lot of sun in Indiana. Around the summer
solstice it's color begins a series of color changes.
Show stopper across the garden...emerges a celery/grey green, changes
to pale yellow then golden yellow which holds until
fall."
