Hosta 'Jim Cooper'
 

A hybrid of H. 'Sum and Substance x an unnamed seedling, this cultivar was registered by Paul Aden of New York in 1982. It forms a large size (24 inches high by 50 inches wide) plant with chartreuse to gold colored foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, heavily corrugated and have thick substance. Pale lavender bloom from late June into July. It develops many seed pods.
