Registered by Peter Postlewaite of Illinois in 2008, this
upright, fast growing cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. It becomes a large size hosta
about 22 inches high by 44 inches wide with intensely
blue-green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, folded
and dull on top. Bell shape flowers bloom from
mid-August into September on scapes 15 to 24 inches
tall. According to the
registration materials: "...Tardiana-type with upright growth habit,
intense blue leaves stand up well to sun and holds
color well into the fall, vigorous grower..."
