This is a sport of H. 'Whirlwind' is a non-registered hosta from Dean Stark of Iowa. The foliage is dark green with a yellow to greenish white marginal variegation. It grows into a medium size plant about 16 inches high by 34 inches wide with leaves that are shiny on top. They are narrowly ovate, somewhat unruly and cupped. Medium lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
