Registered by Tim Boak of Ohio in 2010, this
large size (20 inches high by 24 inches wide) cultivar is a
sport of H. 'Gold Standard'.
The dark green leaves have a greenish yellow center and
pure white marginal variegation. Its foliage is broadly
ovate, slightly corrugated, slightly cupped and slightly
shiny on top. Lavender, funnel shaped flowers on 30 inch
scapes from June into July. According to the registration materials: "...Unusual
3 kinds of variegation...center turns more golden in the
fall..." |
