Originated by Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm in North Carolina, this non-registered cultivar is a medium size hosta with blue-green foliage. Its heart-shaped leaves are slightly wavy and have some purple color that extend up into the midrib during the spring months.

This is named in honor of the late hosta enthusiast, Jane Diesen.
