 A
tissue culture sport of H. 'Golden Tiara',
this plant was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 1988. A
medium size, 16 inch high plant, it grows
to about 43 inches in diameter. It bears purple flowers in mid-July. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...published as a sport of
'Jade Scepter' (Eisel 1989), but sent to registrar as a sport of
'Golden Tiara'; from
tissue culture; after observations since
1988, 'Gold Edger' the more likely mother plant."
Is that confusing or what?
