In 2004, Greg Johnson of Iowa registered this seedling of H. 'Hadspen Heron'. The miniature size (4 inches  high by 12 inches wide) mound of dark green foliage bears pale lavender flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "I am not sure if this perfectly named cultivar will ever grow larger, but it has remained in the "super-mini" category for a number of years."
