This plant is a
tissue culture sport of H. 'Inniswood' which
originated by
Mark Zilis of Illinois and registered by
Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) on his behalf in 2009. It forms a medium size mound of foliage
that is broadly ovate with thick
substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...makes an excellent, slug-resistant ground cover in the
landscape and looks great in combination with' inniswood'."
