This cultivar is a hybrid of H. sieboldii 'Paxton's Original' × H. 'Wogon' which was originated by Arthur George of Hydon Nurseries in England . The plant was registered on his behalf by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1998. It forms a medium size (11 inches high by 27 inches wide) hosta with gold foliage that changes to green during the season. Lavender flowers bloom in August.
