This cultivar is part of
Van
Wade's
"American Indian Series" of hostas. It was registered in 2007 as a seedling
selection of unidentified parentage. The mound grows into a medium
size hosta about 16
inches in height and 44 inches in width. Near white flowers
bloom from mid-June into July. The
Huron tribe was also known as the Wyandots. They were from the
Northeastern part of North America and probably originated in
the area of Quebec, Canada.
