this large size (19 inches high by 48 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of
unidentified parentage. It has apple green to chartreuse
colored foliage with a golden-yellow marginal
variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, broadly
ovate, heavily corrugated and dull on top. Near white
flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes about 30
inches tall followed by viable seeds.
The registration materials state: "...Medium sized
clump of apple green leaves with wide, irregular gold
margins...near white buds with pale lavender blush
towards the tip opens to reveal pale lavender blush both
inside and out." |
