This cultivar is part of the "Holly Series" of hostas from Gladys Holly of Wisconsin. It was registered on her behalf by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 2002 as a seedling of H. nakaiana. This is a medium size (16 inches high by 38 inches wide) hosta with yellow to light green colored foliage. Medium purple flowers bloom from mid-July into August.
