A hybrid of two forms of the
species H. pycnophylla, this plant was registered by
Paul Aden of New York in 1987. It grows
into a medium size hosta about 16 inches high by 32 inches wide. The
leaves have a slight ripple to the margins and a distinctive
white bloom on the bottom. Light lavender flowers on nearly 4
foot tall scapes bloom in August. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...offers the unusual combination
of marginal ripples and waves."
