Registered by
Dr. Jim Wilkins of Michigan in 1990, this cultivar is a hybrid
of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa'. It is
named for the renowned hostaphile,
Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan. The medium to large size plant has blue-green foliage which is
heavily streaked with white, cream and green specks. It bears
near white flowers from June into July.
