Hosta 'Hedgehog'

A medium size (13 inches  high by 30 inches wide) hosta, this non-registered cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Maria Plater-Zyberk of Delaware. It emerges in the spring with gold colored foliage that changes into green by midsummer (viridescence). The leaves are ovate, shiny on the bottom and have thin substance.
