This is another of the Tardiana-type, small size cultivars from Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan and it was registered on his behalf by Rod Kuenster in 2010. 'Hebe Blue' is a slow growing, small size plant about 6 inches high by 12 inches wide. The medium blue-green leaves are slightly rippled, heart shaped, slightly cupped, broadly ovate, moderately corrugated and have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers are borne in the summer.
