Lillian Maroushek of Minnesota registered this sport of H. 'Gold Edger' in 1999. This medium size (10 inches high by 25 inches wide) plant has leaves that have very thick substance. It bears pale lavender flowers in late June.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Seen at its best in a container or a rock garden. Moderate growth rate."
