Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio registered this medium size (14 inches high by 17 inches wide)
hybrid of H. 'Hearts and
Flowers' × an unidentified hosta in 2014. The medium green foliage is broadly ovate, moderately wavy and
dull on top. Its leaves have thick substance. Pale lavender,
bell-shaped flowers bloom from June into July. Its sets seeds
but the viability was undetermined at the time of registration.
Although
this was a famous rock and roll song during the 1960s, it is
also known for being played during football games at The Ohio
State University.
