A seedling of H. 'Sunlight
Sister', this cultivar was registered by
Lillian Maroushek of Minnesota in 1999. The mound of heavily corrugated, H. 'Tokudama' type foliage
grows into a medium size hosta with a height of 18 inches and a spread of 47 inches. Its
leaves are slightly cupped and have thick substance. Near white
flowers bloom in late June.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has more of a look of a 'Tokudama'
than being out of a
H. 'Sieboldiana'-type such as 'Sunlight
Sister'. Its flowering habits, foliage, and mound sizes attest
to this."
This
cultivar was named after Lillian's great granddaughter.
