This non-registered hosta
of unidentified parentage and unidentified origin comes from
England. It is a large size plant about 20 inches
high by 45 inches wide with blue-green foliage. The
leaves are round, cupped and have good substance.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...cannot be registered as such because of the
inclusion of a name related to another plant genus (Nymphaea,
a genus of water lilies). At the same time, it was aptly
named because its leaves do resemble those of a water
lily."
