Jerry Hadrava of Iowa is the originator of a large number of hostas which were included in his "Rosedale" series. Several of his plants had a seedling he named "RD-93" as either the pollen or seed parent. To our knowledge, he never named or registered this prolific hosta outside of his breeding program. We have a list of hostas that have this one in their background.

Hybrids of this plant include H. 'Rosedale Brush Marks', H. 'Rosedale Dandy Brandy' and H. 'Rosedale High Flyer'.
