This
self-pollinated seedling of
H. 'Aspen
Gold' was registered by
Clarence
Owens of Michigan in 1986. The
large size mound grows to about 21 inches in height with a spread of around
44 inches. Its foliage begins the season as a bluish-green color
changing to a dark green by fall. The leaves are moderately
cupped and heavily corrugated. Near white flowers bloom in July.
