Registered by
Monty and Julie Carlson of Minnesota in 2013, this
very large size (27 inches high by 66 inches wide) cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. The medium blue-green foliage
is nearly round, heavily corrugated, slightly folded,
moderately wavy, deeply cupped, slightly folded and has a
glaucous bloom on top. Tubular flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes up to 22 inches tall.
According to the registration materials: "...huge,
deeply
cupped, with
a waxy bloom
on top and
bottom,
flowers are
hidden in
the foliage..."
