Originated by Tony Avent of Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina, this non-registered cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Silver Bay' × H. venusta. It is a small to medium size hosta about 10 inches tall by 30 inches wide with dusty blue-green, "H. 'Sieboldiana' like foliage." The leaves are slightly corrugated and have prominent veins.

This a sibling of H. 'Azure Gem'.
