This large size (18 inches high by 40 inches wide) cultivar was registered by  W. George Schmid in 2009 as a sport of H. 'August Moon'. The leaves have a gold center and a wide, white marginal variegation. They are flat, ovate and dull on top. Its flowers bloom from mid-July into August. Does not develop the drawstring effect on its leaves like the similar cultivar, H. 'Lunar Eclipse'.
