this cultivar is a seedling of an unnamed streaked
seedling × (H. 'Silver Bay' ×
H. 'Blue Jay'). It is a medium size hosta about
16 inches high by 36 inches wide with medium blue-green
foliage with a white marginal variegation. The leaves
are broadly ovate, dull on top and moderately wavy
overall. Its flowers are pale lavender at the tips and
white at the throat and bloom in July followed by viable
seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Blue-green
centers with slightly rippled white edges and white
backs...Emerges with pale yellow margins that later turn
white." |
