this medium size (16 inches high by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H.
'Golden Waffles'. It has greenish-yellow hosta with
broadly ovate foliage that is slightly twisted, deeply
folded and heavily corrugated. Near white flowers bloom
from July into August on scapes 16 inches tall followed
by viable seeds.
The registration materials state: "...Upright,
unique shade of greenish-yellow and extremely rugose
leaves that are folded with twists and turns, giving the
appearance of movement. One of two cultivars chosen for
the 2019 AHS Convention in Green Bay, WI...Turns more
yellow when grown in the sun." |
