A cross of H. 'Sea Prize' × H. 'Maekawa',
this cultivar was registered by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2000. It forms a
large size hosta about
27 inches high with pale lavender flowers in mid-July.
According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009), "...could be used as a substitute
for gold-leaved H. 'Sieboldiana'-types that develop spring
desiccation burn."
