This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Henry Landis of Canada and registered on his behalf by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1998. It forms a medium size mound of gold foliage which is slightly cupped and slightly corrugated. Medium purple flowers bloom from late June into July.
