This seedling of Hosta clausa was registered by Robert Herman of Connecticut in 1996. It grows into a small size hosta about 9 inches high and has golden foliage. Tubular purple flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

There is a German cultivar with the name H. 'Goldpfeil' which translates into Gold or Golden Arrow.
