This cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'Sun Power' × H. 'Gold Cover' which was registered by Loleta Powell of Powell's Iris Haven in North Carolina in 1995. It was incorrectly registered as H. 'Gold Wares' and later changed to this current name. The medium size plant grows to about 15 inches in height with a width of 24 inches. Its foliage is yellow gold, moderately rippled, elliptic and shiny on top with thick substance. Pale lavender flowers with green stripes bloom in July.
