According
to
The Genus HOSTA by
W. George Schmid (1991), this
is the all golden-yellow colored sport of H. 'High
Fat Cream' from
Paul Aden of
Garden of Aden in New York. It grows to
large size about 18 inches in height with a 40 inch
spread. It bears pale lavender flowers from late July
into August followed by viable seeds.
Schmid points out that this is an "incorrect" name or,
at least was, under the naming rules in 1991.
