This
Tardiana-type hosta was originated by
Heinz Klose of
Staudengärtnerei Klose in Germany and registered on his behalf by
Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2008.
It is a small size plant around 6 inches high with a
spread of 19 inches with medium green foliage. The
leaves are slightly rippled, slightly wavy, flat, ovate
and slightly shiny on top. Medium purple flowers with
white stripes bloom in July.
A
glockenspiel is a percussion instrument composed of a set
of tuned keys arranged in the fashion of the keyboard of a
piano.
