This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Glad Rags' that was introduced by
Rod Lysne of
Northern Grown Perennials in Wisconsin. It has thick
substance and grows into a medium size hosta with a height of about 14 inches
and a spread
of 24 inches. Leaves emerge chartreuse and gradually become gold
colored as the season progresses. The foliage is somewhat unruly
and forms an upright clump. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.
