this upright growing, large size (20 inches high by 48
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Blue
Umbrellas'. The dark green leaves have flat margins and
are broadly ovate, moderately corrugated, slightly folded
and wavy. Medium lavender flowers with stripes bloom
from June into July on scapes 44 to 55 inches tall. It
sets seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time
of registration. The
registration materials state: "...large, upright
plant with showy flowers and shiny leaves that develop
some corrugation when mature."
