This non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Gala' from Jim Schwarz of Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by Uniquely Hostas of Wisconsin) . The foliage is streaked in the center with greenish yellow marginal variegation. It forms a medium size mound about 15 inches tall by 35 inches wide. The leaves are narrowly ovate with long, thin tip and are narrowly rippled along the margin. Its flowers are in a narrow funnel shape with a pale purple color. They bloom in tight clusters from mid-August into September.
