Registered by Don Rawson of Michigan in 2016, this fast growing, giant size (28
inches high by 60 inches wide) cultivar is a sport of H. 'Empress
Wu'. The medium green colored foliage has chartreuse to
creamy white marginal variegation. Its leaves are
slightly rippled, slightly folded and dull on top.
Very pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from mid-June into July on scapes
46 inches tall. The
registration materials state: "Stable,
marginally-variegated sport of H. 'Empress Wu' that
withstands full sun. Margins are chartreuse when grown
in shade & creamy white when grown in full sun. Very
large, stately hosta."
