Joyce Fransen of Fransen Hostas in the Netherlands this non-registered hosta is a
sport of H. 'Bamse'. The large size (22 inches
tall by 49 inches wide) hosta has green foliage with a
greyish cast and a chalky white underside. Near white,
tubular flowers which have vertical, pale lavender
stripes bloom from July into August.
