This cultivar is a hybrid
of H.
rupifraga which was registered by
Wm
and Eleanor Lachman of Massachusetts in 1993. It is a medium size
plant about 16 inches high by 38 inches wide with medium
gold to chartreuse colored leaves. The foliage is
broadly ovate, moderately corrugated and have a distinct
tip. Near white flowers bloom from mid-July into August.

This cultivar is
mistakenly sometimes referred to as H.
'Frosty Morning'.
