A non-registered cultivar
of unidentified parentage, this giant size hosta was
originated by
Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan. It grows to a
height of around 29 inches with a spread of about 47
inches. The foliage is medium green with either a creamy
white margin or creamy white streaks in the center. Its
leaves are moderately wavy, slightly lobed at the base
and have a twisted tip. Near white flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes up to 36 inches tall. A cultivar by this name was listed on the
Hosta Library.
