this fast growing cultivar is a seedling of
H. yingeri ×
H.
longipes hypoglauca.
It is a medium size hosta about 13 inches high by 18
inches wide with blue-green foliage.
The leaves are lanceolate, relatively flat and have a glaucous bloom on
top. Its petioles are bright red wine
colored in the
spring but change to dull reddish brown later. Pale
lavender flowers on scapes about at the top of the
foliage bloom from late August into October. It does not
set seeds. The

narrow blue green leaves with nice red petioles...glaucous
bloom early, shiny green later in the season." |
