slow growing
cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a large
size hosta about 23 inches tall by 33 inches wide with
"icy" blue-green foliage. The broadly ovate leaves are
upright growing and relatively flat with a glaucous
bloom on top. Near white flowers bloom on scapes up to
23 inches tall from July into August followed by viable
seeds.
The registration
materials state: "...Intense icy blue colour. One
of the bluest as compared to all Tardianas. Remains blue
unless watered from above...remains blue in semi-shade." |
