this fast growing cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of
an unnamed seedling of
H. nakaiana. It is a medium
size hosta about 12 inches high by 23 inches wide. The
broadly ovate foliage is blue-green with a white
marginal variegation. It is relatively flat and has a
glaucous bloom on top. Medium lavender flowers with
flaring petals (some facing upwards) bloom from June
into July on scapes up to 18 inches tall. It does not
set seeds.

materials state: "...Large flowers with flaring
petals are nicely displayed against well proportioned
dark blue leaves." |
