this medium size (16 inches high by 28 inches wide) cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Ogon Koba'. The
yellow-green foliage is slightly wavy, lanceolate,
slightly rippled and dull on the top. Pale purple
flowers on scapes 22 to 24 inches tall bloom in August. The
registration materials state: "...Pleasing
appearance with bright colour that lasts into October.
Attractive blended hues of yellow and green all season...emerges
pale yellow green turning golden yellow by mid-summer." |
