this cultivar is an open-pollinated, miniature size (3
inches high by 6 inches wide) seedling of
H. venusta.
It is a slow growing plant with green foliage that has
white streaked variegation.
The ovate leaves are
relatively flat, dull on top and slightly shiny on the
bottom. Pale purple flowers on scapes 4 to 6 inches tall
bloom from July into August. It sets non-viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Good streaky
addition to miniature hostas. Pollen fertile. Needs
divided every four years or so to maintain streaky
character." |
